I Will Tell You About A Person

Let me know if this is you.

You get home at the end of a normal day in your life.

You lie down on the couch and open your phone. You go through one running video after another. Someone ran a trail you have had your eyes on. Someone won a race. The guy you have been following for years just ran the length of Africa. By the time you realise what happened, you have already been there for an hour. You put your phone away, glance through the window and wonder: am I meant for something more?

You can feel your potential and the drive somewhere inside of you, but you don’t know what to do about it. You always wondered what it would be like if you could plan your life around your running instead of planning your running around your life. Going for a top five at UTMB might seem unrealistic with how things are now, and sponsors aren’t knocking at your door. But somehow you can sense it. There is another way.

I have been there too.

Before I get into it, let me tell you about my situation and how it felt. I was planning for an academic future. I was doing well in school and on paper, I was in for a bright future, but when I started running ultras, things changed. It was my passion and I could see the opportunities I had with the sport.

Every day I worked on my academic future, I had this crippling feeling of stress over losing my ultra running potential to nothingness. It was that feeling of losing time, but not being able to do anything about it. I felt like most of my time in the school bench was spent on doing something that felt ever so slightly pointless. I just wanted to run through countries, win races and inspire people to do the same.

I decided to go for it. I was going to run for a living. What I didn’t know was that it came with a lot more doubt than I had imagined. I felt like it was too late to start. I felt like the market I wanted to enter was saturated. I felt like I was the only person in the world who believed in my passion. Every time I was about to post something on social media, I cringed at myself, and the months of waiting for replies to those sponsor emails felt endless. After countless different combinations of approaches, things started to click. I was actually able to run for a living. The turning point didn’t just happen. It was active work and a step-by-step plan.

Are they calling you crazy?

If someone has ever told you that your dreams are a bit unrealistic and that slight frustration bubbles to the surface: I get you. Usually these comments can come from a relative, a friend or a stranger, and after some time, you learn to keep it shut. It is not comfortable to be met with that indulgent smile every time you express what you want. For me, the worst thing was when they said “one day you will end up like the rest of us.”

It’s true. It is hard.

Most people end up like the rest. It takes a certain kind of dedication to push through the challenges and discomfort. It requires commitment, and trust. You don’t have to be super confident. You don’t have to be extra smart or super fast, but you will be challenged. There are no quick fixes and there will never be, but if you feel like you would rather work hard and be challenged for a few years than end up spending the rest of your life feeling unsatisfied, continue reading.

There were some crucial things that made it work.

I thought, “Why don’t I try to find out if there are other people like me?” I surrounded myself with incredible people and committed to a mentor who wasn’t going to let me fail. Three months later, I had already made more than I made in the whole of the previous year. Nine months later, I had gone from $500 months to passing $45,000 in sales over that period of time.

That is an increase of 900%. I saw the methods I was learning work over and over again. I became obsessed with the concepts. I started online groups and invited runners to try the concepts, and I found out that they worked. We started overcoming barriers together, and it was incredible to see.

If any of this resonates with you, I want you to know that…

A group of us is already forming. We are facing doubts and fears at the root of it. We are building our audiences by being authentically us. We are building trust with our sponsors and clients in a way that few others do. Everything we do allows us to live out our dream life while getting paid for it, and pushing each other while developing together strengthens us. Being a part of a group like this is special. You’re no longer the biggest dreamer in the room, and that’s exactly where you want to be.

I am not special, nor am I a genius.

I was literally living out of a van, but because I had the courage and the support around me, I was able to build everything that I have. I built a big following, an income and a team around me, and I am extremely passionate about helping you do the same thing. I use gratitude as fuel, and I want to pass on the knowledge that helped me access my inner gold mine.

This system requires that you really want this. I am telling you this because I have done it myself and I have seen how this works on groups of people. I am telling you that it is possible if you actively follow the processes. I want to help you do what I did, and I am going to save you years of trial and error. I have made a video series that you can access for free that will help you in the direction that you want to go.
